25th January weekend in Leluavia
The weekend is here and we are free until Monday at 4pm - long weekend. A weekend of diving, church, beer and meat. Normally on a long weekend people generally take advantage of the extra day to go further afield, but as the cyclone forced us to stay in Suva last week we just want a relaxing weekend, bit of snorkelling and a lie in instead of up at 6am every morning .
So today I went on a boat dive organised by the resort a 2 tank dive with a surface interval on a small island called honeymoon island. The picture is of Erin chilling in the sun before the next dive.
Saw loads of fish, trigger fish, groupers, butterfly fish, bat fish and loads more, also some turtles and sharks. Great big enormous sharks, some curious some upset cos we disturbed their nap.The only decent picture I managed to take was of a nudibranch. They don't swim away and you can get quite close to them.
We have also paid for two nights in one of the fijian Bures. A type of thatched beach front house. With an EN-SUITE. Can't tell you how happy Rhonda is. The fact I added a photo of a bathroom shows how exited we are.
