Now at the tail end of 2025. Started well with a month in Alicante. Followed by 3 weeks skiing in Trysil. First week with Carolyn and Robert in The Radisson Blu hotel, the second week just the two of us in an apartment, the final week we moved to a chalet with Fergus, Sarah, Sophie and Allan plus the kids of course. Snow not so good in the last week as this was Easter and it was late in the year. But all good fun.
In July we went to Santa Pola not far from Alicante for some scuba diving. Nice to be back underwater but it was really hot above ground. Some great restaurants as usual.
In November I flew out to Vigo to sail to Gran Canaria in the Azores. I sailed again with Rubicon 3. There was also a couple of days of Celestial Navigation using sextants. Very interesting, GPS has made this ancient knowledge pretty redundant.
